They share their rich emotional life and their passionate convictions with very few people. But one would be very much mistaken to judge them to be cool and reserved. They have a pronounced inner system of values and clear, honourable principles for which they are willing to sacrifice a great deal. Joan of Arc or Sir Galahad would have been good examples of this personality type. Dreamy Idealists are always at great pains to improve the world. They can be very considerate towards others and do a lot to support them and stand up for them. They are interested in their fellow beings, attentive and generous towards them. Once their enthusiasm for an issue or person is aroused, they can become tireless fighters.

take it yourself here!

no, actually, you don't need to.
I'm just posting a short story I wrote :D

what he did best was pretend.

he remembers how he'd curl in a ball and cross his arms, laying his head so his head would sit on your chest. he can feel the laughter before he hears it, and it sends him tumbling off the diving board into an abyss of stars and bolts of the deep blue fabric of his mother-god-bless-her's best dress.

you'd read while he listened to the radio, fair hair tucked behind one ear as he pressed closer to hear the anchor over the static. he would lean against you with the limpness of sleep and you would pet his hair, back and forth and back and forth until it shone, bright as a candle in the light.

“are you going to leave?” he would ask as he's lifted up, a faded doll in a grownup's hands. his ear is pressed awkwardly against your throat, and it vibrates with a whispered reply, “no, baby, I'm just going home.”

he was one door-frame away from your room, and you both knew it.

the walls run red and he sometimes wishes, eating or playing or running or dreaming, that he could just take his thumb and peel his chest right open, so he could pull himself over you like a threadbare coat and lay together instead of apart.

footprints crisscross on the layer of dust coating the floor.

eleven days, twelve hours, thirteen minutes, and two seconds.

he can't hear anything, they say.

on the red of the floor, your hair is splayed and sticky and forms a perfect circle around your face, a perfect halo in the dark.

now his snowy hair lies limp on his neck, his papery lips full of cracks and faded pink, his eyes burned up inside and leaving only little piles of ash. his cheeks have given up their color long ago.

he likes to lay on the fourth step to the roof, watching birds glide by until the White People come to scold him back inside, shooing him with their hands because he still can't hear.
...and procrastinating like a mofo.

anyways, onto the <strike>scoop</strike>story.

All righty, so there is this high school wrestling club from Okayama visiting for a week and staying at the houses of some of the kids from my school's wrestling club.
I decide to show up when they walk in to meet up with their homestay-person, and one of the English members want to know what they did today. They walk in in their black uniforms and gold buttons all "gansta yo" before I ask them the question in Japanese.

Giant noise of an asian "OOOH ^unspoken: this chick can speak japanese!^" before they manage a reply. My inner self nearly lol'd its pants off. I make awkward conversation for a few minutes before walking away.

Later that evening:
Me and some friends show up to their wrestling meet, and they proceed to kick everyone's ass to Neptune and back.

Afterwards they shuffle awkwardly towards me and ask if they can do the stereotypical asian thing (take pictures with their cellphones and cameras) with us. Ohhh my goodness the madness and embarrassment that followed.

First it was just two of them, but pretty soon about half the team was around us trying to get a picture with us. Very cute<strike>/awkward. </strike> My school's wrestling team just stood a little ways off and asked me (awkwardly) why they wanted to take pictures with us. (It's a Japanese thing... Take pictures with foreign girls to show off to your friends back home.)

Honestly, that they came up to me after their meet and wanted to take pictures with me and my friend really shocked me. Finding Japanese people that I could actually hold a face-to-face conversation with (other than my mum) was such a nervous and exciting experience. I hope it won't be so awkward next time, haha;;

Will put up pictures if I see them again!

I really liked this test, the answers weren't obvious which house you would end up "sorted" as.

Your result for The Sorting Hat Test ...

Slytherclaw

You scored 50% Order/Chaos, and 23% Moral/Rational

Rationality with an orderly/chaotic split. What you strongly know is that you try to be rational, objective, and like to consider things as shades of gray. On order, you see the value of rules and organization but equally can become impatient and advocate a rather loose system. Your strengths arise from your ability to consider both radicals and straightlaced authority objectively; however, it can turn on you when others feel betrayed by the fact that there are few you support unconditionally and consistently.

The 4-grid I used to determine this is as follows:

Chaotic

Orderly

Moral

Gryffindor

Hufflepuff

Rational

Slytherin

Ravenclaw

You can take the test for yourself here!
